Brought forward, at Alan's suggestion, for the Vintage Photos Theme Park theme of "ALREADY UPLOADED - ANYTHING GOES!"

From my 13 year old self and my current "Nana" self - I wish you all warm, happy holidays and a coming year of peace, contentment, and many new photo "finds."

Purchased in Middlebury, Vermont, about 1998.
It came in a very pretty blue glass art deco frame but I had a relative I wanted to put in there so... out she came!
I think the frame and the picture together were $8. Good deal.
There are no identifying notes.

Choosing to ignore that ridiculous thing on her head.
She looks slightly amused with the world and very composed and self-assured for one so young.

Those tufts! What were they thinking? The poor baby was already as homely as they come.
This is an example of a "hidden mother" photo as you can see the arm and hand curved around the baby but otherwise, apart for a glimpse of dress, she is hidden.
Purchased in Vergennes, Vermont.
There's a torn off two cent stamp on the back even though it's not a postcard. It looks like it might be a George Washington stamp. Assuming it was put on close to the time it was taken, what time frame is that?

Here's a bunch more "Three's A crowd" photos I pulled from my already scanned photos when Ipernity was down.
I have a new laptop (yay!) and have not yet got the scanner part together - but these were all easily available!
This is from an album given to me by a library patron. It's pretty blurry but still so sweet.
Can anyone read what the magazine is? I can't make it out.

My husband's great grandmother, Mary King, her husband, (unknown) and (I think) her sister.
Taken in front of Mary's son's house in Springfield, Vermont, 1930s or 40s.

The woman in the middle looks quite belligerent.

Tintype of three men taken in a studio. No information on who or where they are.
I believe I found this at the Warrensburg, NY annual town wide sale in 2013.

Uploaded for the Vintage Photos Theme Park theme of: BOOKS
My lifelong addiction to books is in it's early stage here. I'm three and a half years old and living in Walthamstow, London.
Of course, now I'm really wishing I could see what I was reading!

Uploaded, late again, for the Vintage Photos Theme Park theme of: DRINKING
I think all of my alcohol drinking photos are already posted. There's quite a few!
Here's my mother (on the left) and her friend drinking their tea on the beach.
Isle of Wight, late 1940s.

I couldn't find anything for the "Tall" theme this week (not much time to look) but here's a snap for the monthly theme of "Two people".
(And my "Vintage Twins" group.)
Written on back:
Greetings to a good cook from one who remembers. Guess who is which. Raymond A. Crell Boatswains' Mate U.S. Coastguard.
Raymond is rite - Raynold left.
Raymond gave this to {Ma? Anna?} the last time she saw him, for me.
Send it back.
