Uploaded for the vintage Photos Theme Park Theme of: 9/16 - 9/22 THE DANCER
Posting a little late thanks to dental surgery and Covid. : (
Anyway, here's a pic for the theme with dancers rather than a single dancer - which is what my level of search energy allowed in the last few weeks.
All better now!
Found photo last year in Brandon, Vermont.

Uploaded for the Vintage Photos Theme Park theme of: THINGS THEY WON'T LET US DO ANY MORE
Here's a fairground example of the theme.
Children - small children - with a "safety bar" but no other restraints, as far as I can see.
I guess litigation wasn't such a thing back then.
Reading in the Garden

Uploaded for the Vintage Photos Theme Park theme of: NEWSPAPERS, MAGAZINES, OR ANY OTHER PRINTED MATERIALS
My mother visiting a friend on the outskirts of London, England, in the summer of 1950.
At first quick glance it almost looks like she's reading by a Christmas tree, but the fireside chairs have been taken outside into the garden and you can see the roses climbing the wall behind her.

Brought forward for the Vintage Photos Theme Park theme of: ADULTS AT PLAY
My father and Uncle Maurice were off to the U.S. and this was one of several "going away" parties.
My Dad on piano, Uncle Arthur singing next to him, Eve Whiting and Maurice Brown behind him.
Everyone sang at the parties we had growing up.

On the dock at Lake Sunapee, New Hampshire, U.S.A.
August 19th, 2024.
At Lake Sunapee once again for World Photography Day, where it's very difficult to take the time to produce a worthy photo with so many people and so many children filling time and space! (But beautifully.)
I tend to prefer portraits over other forms - but with two babies and lots of energetic thirty-somethings as well as us oldsters, it was a crunch.
Happy World Photography Day to one and all! I enjoy and respect your photographic artistry!

My mother-in-law making "angel wings" over the shoulders of an unsuspecting, oblivious friend.

So, here's a Studio portrait on bevel-edged cardboard from my vintage collection of TWINS.
Taken at the studio of someone called Harris in Arapahoe, Nebraska, U.S.
Undated - probably around 1900 - 1910ish.

Brought forward this time for the Vintage Photos Theme Park theme: CHRISTMAS IN JULY.
My mother said (when I laughed my head off at the tree in this picture) that they were impressed there WAS a tree!
(In 1955, this was still post-war Britain in many ways.)
Standing L to R: Molly and Pat, family friends and William and Ann Gregory, my grandparents.
Brought forward (formerly) for the Vintage Photos theme Park theme of "Charlie Brown Christmas Trees"
