This is the messed up purse after some serious work! There are acrylic and fabric paints, sharpie markers, some inkjet images and text, rubberstamping, and a whole lot of modpodge involved. (The quote is "The days that make us happy/make us wise," by American poet Muna Lee; the image of a woman is from old family albums I have.)

Made from two skeins of ribbon bought at Big Lots a few years ago--love the earthtones and the sheen. Crocheted entirely at the Huntington Library on a Saturday in November 2008.

Found these in my size, nearly new, in a thriftshop--but they were missing one of the toggles. For less than $2, I replaced both toggles, and had a fun pair of red shoes.
