Possibly from July 1980, but I think more likely September 1978 as that is when all my other rescued slides are from. My 1980 Skye photos were mainly in print format and have gone awol! I did have a few slides from 1980 and I don't think I recall this boat being there in 1978. It is a (minor) puzzle to me. Memory is a fickle thing!
I do recall, however that the scree-run (top left hand corner of this shot) was very good fun!
Please get me out of here! I promise I won't bite!…

Pedraza door knocker
This reminds me of Carmen T (from Zaragoza) and her great knockers, on Pano. I wonder where she is now? Probably Flickr but does anyone know?
NEWSFLASH! Well, I am delighted that Carmen is here again!! I dedicate this to her of course!

The start of a walk to the ridge. The weather was fair on that day and we managed to traverse a good section of the southern end of the ridge. The northern section is seen on the skyline here..

An all time favourite (in my top 10!).
North Cliffs, Cornwall on a lovely day.
Shot taken in 2012. Today it would not be possible as this section of coast just here in front of me has crumbled into the sea.

Grape - picking. Chateau Haut-Castenet, Samonac, Cotes de Bourg, Bordeaux. The girl at the right of the photo in the brown jersey - I give her first name only - Patricia, is the main reason why my two weeks here were very memorable! The fact that 1979 was a rather mediocre vintage, evinced from the date of this photo, which shows a VERY late harvest due to late rain, in no way detracted from my wonderful time spent here!

Taken in September 1978. I can't for the life of me remember exactly where this was! But I have made a guess that it was above Loch Coruisk and below Sgurr Alasdair.
I think, even for 1978, the clothing and backpacks were already anti-deluvian! But then, we were VERY poor students!
Scanned from a degraded slide.
