The largest Plaza Mayor in Spain.
I waited for ages for the guy in the pink shirt to shuffle off but he must have used up a whole reel of film!
Mind you, there was probably a guy behind me ,,,

Spain won! Could be a bar anywhere in Spain!

I have just watched Spain beat Italy 3:0 in a World Cup qualifier on TV tonight, Spain playing quite wonderful football.
It reminded me of this night in 2012 in a bar near where I then lived, watching Spain beat Italy in the final of the European Championships. Spain had been on a long winning run as the best team in the world and the fans seemed rather nonchalant by then.
I was more excited by the terrific football I had witnessed in 2012 than they were.
5 years later and with some exciting new players, maybe the interest is coming back!
The chap in the Pique shirt was obviously a Catalan interloper! Today, he might be in danger of a lynching. (If unsure, please ask me privately!).

The path from the main car park descends to the town. For those who would prefer not to walk back up, there is a frequent bus service.
In the mid distance, the harbour. In the far distance, Godrevy Lighthouse.
Best on full screen.

An arresting sight! And a deeply unpleasant one, to my mind!
Window seen in Mogarraz, Salamanca Province.
It's seen better days.

Probably uninhabited. There are many properties like this in the villages of rural Spain. Here, in Mogarraz, not so many as it is a touristy place.
H. A. N. W. E. everyone!

Well a fence after a fashion, but definitely a fence! Reskajeage, Cornwall. The sloping path on the cliff opposite is the path to Fishing Cove, the officially designated nudist beach. The path is FAR easier than it looks from here!

The old route got washed away in a mudslide. This new one was kicked in and roped sometime between 2012 and 2014. It is perfectly safe (although I concede that maybe if you are a zimmer-frame user ...)

Sierra de La Pedriza, Spain.
I think this farm is still worked, the roof has been repaired recently - but who farms here and what they farm, is a complete mystery to me. Suggestions welcome! (I have already dismissed granite as the crop ... but really, there isn't anything else!), There were no goats, nor horses and although the next farm along the trail a couple of miles away had about 100 beehives, nothing of the sort was in evidence here.
