yes it's still a fine old town and an enjoyable regular visit for us - but certainly less busy these days - due to recent restrictions - but hopefully things will pick up...
Btw. the ''Royal oak'' at 800 years old ? had guttering replaced recently.. in PLASTIC !! you would think the contractors would have used their loaf... obviously they had to take it all down again !!

I haven't visited Cesterfield since about 1975! I still have distant family in Bakewell (Decades ago about half my relatives were there!)
