Toz, Oldham has a lot to be sorry for but the building and then later regeneration of its park is not one of them. Its always a pleasure to visit and its nice that there are still quite a few visitors and families seen in there. Glad you liked this.

That looks like a lovely place for a wander with a camera. I like your composition here Herb. The vibrant green grass and the tree are quite beautiful, especially those with blossom, and I like the carpet of fallen blossom on the path.

Yes a great photogenic park for sure as can be seen too in my Alexandra Park Album. I miss the times of the best lighting conditions nowadays as I used to pass it in my car at both sunrise and sunsets. Yes, a lot of wonderful trees and the many gardeners make sure that they always look splendid.

Our local park is a bit grotty.............which Is why I visit the ones in Portsmouth and Chichester so much.
