Brewing weather over Handa Island!
A look toward the Sound of Handa on Scotlands far North West coast with the rocks of Roinn Dubh on the centre left. ~ We are actually waiting for our little ferry to carry us across to the mainland here on this very isolated beach. At my feet is a large old flotsam log which I am sitting on. A path wanders off from here inland to the old Burial Ground and north through the Island centre towards the high cliffs where many sea-birds are nesting.

Hi Keith. This image really comes about after reading some Scottish Highland novels set in the Isle of Lewis by Peter May. He paints such a wonderful image of nature on that rugged island that I wanted to reproduce something of the same here. So glad that it seemed to have worked for you. My thanks for this feedback.
