Thanks Amelia. You know, you stand and study a scene, especially one like this to check that it is a symmetrical as possible and yet, when you see it on the computer, you see it is out and glaringly obvious. Ah well, that's life. Very happy that in spite of this you still like it.

An excellent PoV for this bridge! I didn't notice at first that it's not exactly symmetrical because the horizontals are perfect.

I nice shot of a bridge I have crossed a few times. .. Have you ever seen it lift?
When I was a student I used to work in Trafford park, just a stones throw from where this bridge now is. Of course it was very different in those days..

Hi Peter -no I have never seen it lift. In truth I have only been here twice times before and this was the longest time spent there at about 20 minutes at this spot. Yes, this area has changes massively over the last 10 years or so, especial with Media City just over the bridge and the Lowry Centre & Theatre just behind me here. Glad it brought back memories.
