Close up of Tarantula Nebula NGC2070

Close up of Tarantula Nebula NGC2070
When the moon is out and you have finished all your trials. You go back and try and learn just a bit more from old data. I know I want to do this again properly not just a trial shot but quite impressed how it worked out none the less. This is right next to the LMC The white Dot top right In the PIP.

Very impressive indeed, Steve. I guess "close up" is a relative term, probably expressed in light years. :-)

yes you are right, I am not keen to get another scope even larger I am happy to stay with the limits I have. the cost is quite high to set up another in fact cheaper to buy a camera by a mile hence why I did. I have all my Nikon lens i can use and for some projects I want to do I will so.eg Bernard's loop the whole of Orion area but with 50mm and will have to be out of the city for the light pollution.

1560mm is long enough view for me at the moment also gives me more room in my study to store the equipment as I dont have a shed I can use for just deep space.
