nice one Steve, it is still on my list but for me it is a bit far south and whence on a low lattitude

I was putting in a target to try the new camera out when I though I have never re looked at the first one I took with what I know about processing in PixInsight. the fact it was bucketing down with rain only helped. much more detail and reality shows in this shot than the first one with no real skill on editing space photos at all. Andromeda was one I grew up with on the equator but far to low down here in Perth to even try. I have seen some in the group when they go out to the farm site get a few shots more this to end of year for me.

the editing skill and knowledge has grown as well as the shooting skill. as i was putting in a new target to try out new camera I did think of my first set needed a revisit. I can add a link to info if you wish on the target its always a very good read. glad you like this shot the new camera should be a good one for these sized galaxies. many thanks.

You're way ahead of anything I've even contemplated here, Steve. The very thought of 47 shots, each of 10 minutes! Full points.

it not beyond the realm of 20min shots but I and going to try and stay with 10min as my max. Good mount control , Good guiding , Good polar Alignment, Good condition ( no moon,no high winds, No clouds, No dust in the atmosphere , no light pollution) its not as easy as clicking your fingers.

thank you Toz it has not been an easy road with no bumps or turnes but its getting smoother. its a challenge I enjoy though when you get results like this when it all goes right. I am able to bring my father books to life for myself plus its a real challenge to the mind to keep on top of this.
