This is a very nice shot. I hope that if they were really going to close today they would have had the courtesy to have given us some advanced warning!

The Ipernity Members Association is still working very hard to save Ip, and now in the negotiations stage, Rosa. Let's hope it will turn out well. I have my HFF photo at the ready. ;-)

I think it was Charles Trenet's version that accompanied Mr.Bean on his holiday, Roger. Bobby Darin's version is good, but lacks the passion I think. ;-)

I think a lot of work is being done to save Ipernity, George, and we are all hanging on - a bit like this gull.

That structure looks as if it's got a good few years left in it.............I just hope IP has as well. I was intending to leave after today, but I think I'll hang around just a bit longer and see what develops.

A lot of work is done on the east coast, Keith, and the groynes sit on iron foundations. But those are rusting. Much of the fragile coast is falling into the sea. I hope this doesn't happen to Ipernity. I'll keep on posting ...

I love the sea, Adele, and used to live within a short walk of it when I lived in Scotland as a child. Most people are drawn towards the ever-changing moods and the open skies.

Well, I'm glad William has posted in the IMO group because Team Ipernity seem to have gone AWOL.

I'm at my happiest by the coast too, Gudrun, and spend hours looking at waves and sky. Team Ipernity are very quiet, but at least the IMA are still active. We live in uncertain times!

I miss the sea so desperately.. and England,. I also lived in Norfolk and Lincs before I came here.

We're so lucky to have one of our daughters living in Norfolk, Pam. It doubles the pleasure of family visits.
I was brought up in St,Andrews, haven''t lived there for 60 years - and still miss it. I don't know how you survive, ;-)
