As the weather has been bad, I just wanted to try out these pics in the kitchen! What do you think?

This is my latest painting of dusk in Menton. I loved to bring out the various shades of blue and pink in this painting. I enjoyed painting it, and I hope you like it too!

I took these pics with my I-phone, as that's all I had! I wanted to go back, but got ill and the weather was bad. So I put them up anyway,to give you an idea as to how it is! Hope you like them!

It was a terrible cold and I felt lousy, but now it's all behind me. I'm happy to get back to my routine.

I won't be very active on the site for a few days as I need a break. I'm just doing too much recently and am not feeling too good at present. Will come back as soon as I feel better.

These are just a few of my photos from the carnival of Nice. I haven't been to the lemon festival in Menton yet, but maybe in the weekend. Hope you enjoy them!

This was not an easy one to do. I found it very difficult to find the right colours to make it work. Doing a sunrise needs a lot of contrast and nerves to put the dark colours on! I always wanted to do a sunset or a sunrise (maybe because I go so often to take pics!) as it is a big challenge. I like to have challenges when I choose my subjects. I hope you will give me your feedback, especially if it is negetive, as that is how I learn!

Another pastel! This time a flower. I have already painted these before, but this time it is enormous. The canvas is 62 X 48 cms, so you can imagine. The hardest part is to draw it and then try to give it the delicateness of a flower! It took 12 hours to do. What do you think? Your critics are welcome - good or bad!

It started off really bad, but then changed into something I have never experienced before. The colours were out of this world - just gold and blue. Wished you were with me too! I was on my own on the beach.

This is my first effort on Pixelmator (which is like photoshop) on my mac. It will allow me to do my art in my photography and will open up a new world for me! I am new to this, but I will learn with time. Hope you like it! Please criticize whenever you want to, as that is how I learn and I like to be criticized!

A BIG THANK you all my friends and contacts on Ipernity for all your visits on my site. You all have given me so much pleasure during the last 4 or is it 5 years! I spent Christmas and the New Year in England with my family and these are just some of the pics I took inspite of the very rainy weather!

This is not a recent painting, but I have never showed it on the internet before. I was inspired to do it after I went to the portrait gallery in London. There was one like it painted in oil. I loved it so much, that I decided to try it in pastel. The face of course is not the same. The photograph of the painting is a bit blurred as it was under glass when I took the photo. It was sold almost immediately. Hope you like it!

As I don't have any other pics, it gives me pleasure to see what I can do with still life! It's for you to judge!

If I take so many sunrises, it's beacause I love going to see them. I can't get over the beauty of nature! It's also not too early now to get up to be there!

This is my latest painting which has a very significant meaning especially for me. All I want to show in my art and in my photographs is mainly beauty. I put the young girl on the beach representing me, as ever since I was young, I was always sensitive to beauty. The setting is in the Maldives at dusk where I was in my own world! It was fantastic! I had to get this out of my system. Hope you like it!
