    A group to place all those images of the nearly 3000 different Moth species found throughout the British Isles. From the common to the very rare, all are very welcome. Please post only high quality images, with clear focus and unobstructed views. There is a limit of 5 images per day and where possible, please can you include a location of where the image was taken as this may help with the various recording schemes around the country, otherwise no formal rules apply.

    This is a group for Syrphidae, hoverflies or flowerflies as they are sometimes known. They are some of the real gems to be found in the fly world. 5 photos a day can be posted and if possible an identification of the fly would be good also. I don't my our international friends joining the group and adding photos providing the species they are adding are also found in the UK.
