Hi Kees. Looks like it was about 6-weeks ago the accident occurred. How is that shoulder/arm coming along? Out of bandages yet? Whatever though, I just popped over to wish you a continued and quick recovery! :-)
Thank you, Nigel! Earlier this week, I got rid of my sling, and I’m confident everything will be fine soon. I can already drive our car (proven!) and I hope, some day, I’ll have the courage to ride my scooter again as well... I can’t deny my feelings are ambivalent, though.
Leuk Kees, die GeoTags! Toevallig keek ik eens rond bij je in de buurt nav je recente Robbie-trauma?-foto en vond toevallig het gat Kolbermoor terug. Dit deed vele herinneringen weer opborrelen uit een geconstipeerd gemoed. Daar heb ik immers tientallen jaren geleden die hele lange middag rondgelopen toen mijn Lada defect was, op weg naar de Dolomieten. Nog nooit zo verveeld, en aan de plattegrond te zien is er daar weinig veranderd... alleen de Lada-garage zal wel uit nood overgestapt zijn op de Landwind of de Dacia of iets dergelijks. VG, DC.
A happy New Year to you, too, Nigel! Indeed, the past couple of weeks we were far from our home base, driving to and fro between several hospitals in the Netherlands. A long story. Our own little family is fine, though. No fun with the new iMac (my daughter says it’s hers, and won’t let me touch it except in case of an emergency).
The original picture was made by the built-in camera of a netbook in the near-dark –but if you exaggerate the shortcomings of a picture, everybody will think it was meant to be that way! ;-)
Thanks for the birthday wishes, Kees! I suddenly forget how to count beyond "L"... :-D While at work today, a member of the public called me "Lad" implying I was so much younger than him. I checked later and he was only one year older!! Made my day!! :-D
