Here you can post ideas on how to improve ipernity's financial situation through mechandising. It would be desirable not only to brainstorm, but also to come together in an productive working group to realise promising ideas.

Here in the main article we will record agreed measures and name the volunteers who will take care of their realization.

Das ima-Team hatte im April 2018 einen QR-Code zur freien Verwendung veröffentlicht. Ich habe ihn mal mit einem ansprechenden Frontpage-Foto von Tanja Loughcrew kombiniert. So kann man sich mit eigenen Bildern eine ansprechende Visitenkarte gestalten:

Man kann den QR-Code natürlich auch auf der Textseite der Karte platzieren. Der Fantasie sind keine Grenzen gesetzt. Abweichend von dem gezeigten Beispiel sollte man wirklich nur eigene Bilder verwenden. Andernfalls muss man sich die Verwendung vorab schriftlich genehmigen lassen.

Visitenkarte ist eine gute Idee, werden öfters darauf angesprochen und kommen immer ins Gespräch mit anderen Fotofreunden.
Bei Panoramio hatten wir Aufkleber, Anhänger für den Fotorucksack, T-Shirts, um schon äußerlich etwas aufzufallen bzw erkannt zu werden. Auch die Kaffeetasse in der Firma wäre eine Möglichkeit. Vielleicht hat wer gute Erfahrungen mit einem Anbieter oder sogar ein Studio vor Ort, wo man das mal persönlich abklopfen könnte

I agree, a business card, or a slightly larger card with room for a bit more info.

I tried to download the QR code, but it doesn't download as an image, but an "all files"? I can't get my photo program to open it.

I would ask Bernhard, but I will wait because he is in the middle of something outside of ipernity and I don't want to bother him this minute.

Maybe you know about these QR code things?

Also - do you know of a good company that produces promo items?

Sorry I am at the clinic now because still with heavy palate hemorragies, feeling quite weak, on smatphone not easy to do such research. Seems ok nevertheless, has to be a company shipping all over the world and would have to know if people here are interested in sticking advertisement on cars...

In the meantime, the cause for the download error has been found. It was due to two inverted commas in the picture title. Now the download should work. Can you please try and confirm?

I have a big sticker with my travelling photoclub site address in my car and it works : they received calls from people who saw it, describing my car.
Maybe an idea?

I'm wondering how that company works - I thought it might be that people can order single items, that we wouldn't have to order in bulk. But I haven't researched the company enough to know that. If that is possible, then we could have a set of items that they could choose from.
