Oh Gott, ich sag lieber nicht, was ich von Strickpullovern für Hunde halte. ;-) HBM

I know what you think, but podencos are adapted to extreme hot temperatures, their belly is naked. When they get old (and Ninfa is old) in days with temperature below 10°C and / or rainy they need protection.

Na das ist dann verständlich. Wahrscheinlich hätte mein Hund dafür einen Hitzschlag bekommen bei Dir. Der liebte Temperaturen um die 20 Grad im Schatten wie ich und bei minus 10 Grad war seine Wohlfühltemperatur im Jagdbetrieb. Er hat immer draußen geschlafen, seine Hütte hat er nur bei Frost aufgesucht, ansonsten schlief er oben drauf. Ich hab im mal eine Autofußmatte vor den Eingang genagelt, wo er aber immer noch rausschauen konnte. Die hatte er am nächsten Morgen zerfetzt. Auch ein Schaffell zum drauflegen hat er immer rausgeschleppt. Allerdings war die Hütte von unten isoliert und er lag am liebsten direkt auf dem Holz. Die Hütte war aber auch unter einem Dach und nach drei Seiten windgeschützt.
