Paper rolls

It was just the same here, my grandad never never changed to toilet rolls preferring the old way of squares of newspaper hung on a nail. ( grandma went modern !!!)

I remember having that too when I was a kid !

Pandemic or not, a necessary item!!

One of our few luxuries is good quality, soft toilet paper..!! I'm not sure I'd want to use any of those shells though :-))

Shells and toilet rolls..............an unusual combination, but funnily enough they seem to work well together in this image Isabel.

Both in my bathroom, but usually just one roll showing, the others being hidden.
Pebbles can be used for the same purpose…

As you know I live between a very touristic area at sea and the little village uphills, less than one hour drive.
When the pandemic started and this crazy behaviour, the ladies from the supermarket have hidden toilet paper, blue soap bars, bleach and alcohol and proposed them only to people they knew who lived here all year round (not to tourists)…
