Notocactus leninghausii

A wonderful specimen, the only Notocactus I have are graessneri and haselbergii but I have some unnamed ones I bought from a general store looking at the small ones around the base of yours I think I have one it's not flowered yet with the lower light levels here it would probably only be once a year, are the rings around it annual growth rings ? I lost three column type last winter a specialist grower thinks that was caused by it being such a dull winter

Cactus here are at their best, perfect or almost perfect clima for most species and I have them all year outside. I thing rings correspond to annual growth, it is in summer that they grow less or even stop growing because they protect themselves from heath... at this time I am writing this we have 28ºC outside in the seaside, it is 23:03.
