Der Sonnenuntergang, gesehen vom Phnom Bakheng ist überwältigend und ein unvergessliches Erlebnis, ein Muss für jeden Kambodscha-Besucher. (Phnom = Hügel, das Khmer-Wort wird auch in der Thaisprache benutzt und heißt Phanom, wie z.B. die Stadt Nakhon Phanom)
