Good detail. I’ve often thought it would make an interesting photo project to take snaps of what people put on show in their front windows. It’s tricky, though, I recently stood outside someone’s very eccentrically decorated front garden...gnomes, angels, rabbits and more ready to capture it and the owner rushed outside demanding to know what I was doing. I said I thought her garden was really unusual, and it had just caught my eye. She was cross. I moved on.

I always thought it would make a good project to photograph ice cream vans. All those bright colours. Each one unique. Just the thought brings a smile to your face - all those happy childhood memories. But you can imagine, can’t you, the reaction to seeing a middle aged man with a camera hanging around ice cream vans. Best leave that one, eh?
