Von unserem Rastplatz in 2200 m Höhe haben wir einen fantastischen Ausblick auf die mit Wolken gefüllte Caldera de Taburiente. Die watteweichen Wolken schmiegen sich an die schroffen Felsen. Oben rechts erkennt man die weißen Gebäude der fast 6 km entfernten Observatorien am Roque de los Muchachos.
