Lowering a giant, continuously flushing urinal over the mile-deep gusher. Maybe it will collect 50%!!! But since we don't know how much is actually spilling, um, we don't know whether to celebrate or to shoot ourselves in the head.

Imagine marketing a car with no brakes designed into the vehicle. This is in effect what has happened. The technology unleashed on the world with no planned measures for how to stop it should things go awry. Un-farking-believable.

i'm with you on this one.

its a less well learned not only pertaining to drilling oil but other technoligical and and biological advances.
