Königreich Preußen
The 50-Images-Project: Grenzsteine 21/50 - im Krebsbachtal bei Kaichen im Wetteraukreis verlief seit 1866 die Grenze zwischen dem Königreich Preußen und dem Großherzogtum Hessen. Zu dieser Zeit wurde auch dieser Stein neu behauen. Die früheren Inschriften HC ( Hessen-Cassel ) und BF ( Burg Friedberg ) wurden entfernt und durch das KP ( Königreich Preußen ) und auf der Rückseite GH ( Großherzogtum Hessen ) ersetzt. Die Rückseite konnte ich leider nicht fotografieren, da ich mich in den Krebsbachtal hätte stellen müssen. Was mir zu naß war. Auch heute markieren die Steine noch eine Grenze: die Kreisgrenze zwischen dem Wetteraukreis und dem Main-Kinzig-Kreis.
