Sunset and structure

I have no idea of the purpose (if any), but someone made this structure from driftwood found on the beach (plenty following recent rain).

Water tower art

The Deniliquin water tower stands 22.8 metres high and the mural (also PiP) of these laughing Kookaburras was painted on it in 2019 by street artist Cam Scale. Happy Wall Wednesday, everyone.

Hairpin Banksia

An Australian native flower Banksia spinulosa . This was near the Fitzroy Falls (previous images) but the species is widespread in open forests along the coast and ranges of south-eastern Australia. This example would have been 12-15 cm long.

Macro - Fire extinguisher

For Macro Mondays weekly project No 358: "Fire extinguisher". As noted in setting the theme: It doesn't matter what kind of fire extinguisher it is. The only important thing here is that it is the detail of a real fire extinguisher.

Opposite Fitzroy Falls

As may be seen, the falls drop into an area of tumbled rocks, then re-emerge further on as a series of cascades. Best viewed large.

Above Fitzroy Falls

Water and fences above Fitzroy Falls. The PiP image was taken from about the same position as the two spectators seen here, the second at the Falls. Wishing everyone a Happy Fence Friday and a great weekend.

Fitzroy Falls lookout

A stitched panorama of the view from the lookout at Fitzroy Falls in the NSW Southern Highlands. I think that, with those vertical rockfaces, this should also suit for the Happy Wednesday Wall. Best viewed large.
