Penguin Slope

Penguin Slope
The "Penguin Slope" seems to be famous among penguin enthusiasts and New Zealanders, but I feel it deserves wider awareness. The main rookeries of the Snares Penguins are in the shrubbery at the top of these steep rock slopes.

Many thanks for all your kind comments and faves. I found this quite amazing, if anything that rock is more steep than it appears - you would need to be a climber to get up there!

I suspect very few people have heard of it, Steve (I hadn't either until a short while previously).
