Each language should become added on a separate language specific form provided on the group settings. Don't forget to save the changes! This is my second attempt to explain how to provide separate description on multiple languages. Moreover, notice that the title can be given in multiple languages as well. This is useful to make sure that the group will appear on the search results in case someone uses their own language to search for the groups. If all would do the same, then it turns out as a futile attempt to stand out from the crowd.
