...has started. Only week or two gone since maple flowers dropped, and key fruits are already ripening. I discovered these are also called as Samara or Polynose. Maple key fruits are great if one needs a nose extension ;-)

This time I seriously tried to get there enough light into shadows, without ruining rest of the shot. I used curves tool to add a little more light on to birds face. Then I used Elsamuko's Lomo efffect. Here we also have a challenge. Do you know what bird this is? The especially challenging part is that I have seen this male and also female dive (go completely under the water) for several seconds. I suspect they were diving to get their features cleaned because between dives they were splatting water all over themselves.
