I never quite got Tangerine dream, but Mike Oldfield is definitely a classic. Then Jarre I liked quite a lot for awhile.

Well, I actually like somewhat all kinds of music, as long as it is good.

I do like this music. Heidiho mentioned "Tangerine Dream." Is this artist from that group? I remember liking a couple of movie soundtracks by them, good stuff.

No no! Tangerine Dream has been around for much much longer than young Ulrich Schnauss. Heidi and I were only talking about musical favorites. The pioneers on the genre of electronic, ambient and well, a new-age music are musicians like Kraftwerk, Jarre, Tomita, Brian Eno, Pink Floyd, Mike Oldfield etc.

The artists and bands I have here often referred to are most of them "new", "contemporary" musicians I have found when listening SomaFM's Groove Salad net radio.
