First world problems: Connectivity
I spent somewhat hours to solve an internet connection problem yesterday. Wi-Fi was running slow, or not at all. The solution (hopefully) was to change the "channel" used by Wi-Fi modem. Service provider advised me to use an Android app to scan what channels are used by neighbors, to avoid using the same channels and interruption caused by them. And there are indeed a lot of it! I find something like 20 stations overcrowding the available 13 channels. So, there are plenty of radio waves going through our bodies, not to mention all other frequencies used by TV, mobile phones etc...
EDIT: Folks, I have also another problem. Please help me testing this =)

EDIT: Clearing (image) cache seem to fix the sluggishness on Chrome browser. Thanks to .t.a..o.n. for an advice =)

Although, I have admit getting help from real expert on that first time. That happened something like year ago with an old modem. The guy kindly tipped me to try changing the channels. This time the new advice was to use that "channel scanner" to find out what channel is less crowded.

And you should know - the channels behind and before your chosen one are interference with your one, too, not just the channel itself. And there are just 3 which are free of it - 1, 6 and (I thought) 9. So these mostly are the heaviest used ones...
As android app I use "WIFI Manager". If I switch to right it´s pretty easy to search for the best channel because you don´t only see how many other are using it - you also see how strong their signal - level was compared to your own. Stronger signals means higher dbm (mostly they would be in negative).
So a channel with 3 other routers which are around -80 dbm could be the better choice than a channel with just one another router on it which sends with -20dbm inside your rooms because this single router will disturb your signals even more than the 3 with -80dbm (which is nearly "We can´t get your signals").
