How beautiful. Those oak-framed fruit cages look as if they're built to last, and I like the golden brown colour of the hedges. I also like the terracotta Rhubarb forcing pots, which you don't see that often nowadays. The background landscape looks gorgeous and so well kept.

I bet those old Citroen vans do a roaring trade in this weather. Coffee and cake, by any chance?

Certainly built to last Keith! The rhubarb forcing pots are quite expensive. I saw some in our local garden centre. Thank you for your very kind comments. The vans weren't in operation on that visit, but I did manage to get my coffee and cake still ;-))

Two pretty frames and then, and above all, these two Citroën vans from the 1950s which are real museum pieces!!!!!

Thank you Nouchet. Citroën vans are really popular here with roaming coffee, cake and cheese sellers. I didn't know these were as old as the 1950's. They are very nostalgic.....I love them :)

There has been some serious money spent at this place. No wonder the tickets are so expensive. At least they last for a year though. Not a bad start to the week, and I hope the same for you Peter.
