Yes I have heard that Nouchet. Also sometimes called ladies in a bath....you have to turn them upside down and pull the petals open to see that!

Such an unusual flower...........but really beautiful. Your focus and DOF in the main image is spot on, but I love the image in the PiP which shows the flowers in row..........great colour and detail and they stand out perfectly against the darker background.
