Good morning Rosalyn I hope it's a sunny one, the main photo shows the wonderful colour of the stone beautifully, granite is the local stone in this area, I seem to remember a 'topscope' near the castle. I hope you have a pleasant day

Two very beautiful takes on this rose-tinted castle, Rosalyn. The bow window with a veritable hothouse of pink flowers inside is quite rightly the feature to which we are drawn in your main, although the other details are also a pleasure to discover.

A wonderfully detailed image of this beautiful country house. I love the colour of the stonework and that beautiful curved bay window.

The PiP is excellent............and from it we can immediately see the scale of the house, which is not so apparent in the main image. Once again, beautiful details and a lovely colour palette.

I hope your weather is better than ours......it's now 2:45pm and the sun is just starting to show it's face! Too late to go anywhere for the day.............

Thank you Keith. The stonework is beautiful. I didn't go inside this time, except for the crypt...photos will follow later! Yes it is a huge castle overlooking the village.

I am pleased the sun is showing its face for you now, but it has been sunny and warm all day here! I did a lot of tidying in the garden.

What a beautiful ancient castle, dear Rosa!The PiP shows its majesty and the charming village, while in the main picture there's such a lovely curved bay window! I love the colour of the stone, both the images are great, perfect to take us back to a very distant past...and dream! ;-)
