Dunster Castle
Dunster Castle is a former motte and bailey castle, now a country house, in the village of Dunster, Somerset. The castle lies on the top of a steep hill called the Tor, and has been fortified since the late Anglo-Saxon period. The PiP was taken from above the Yarn Market in Dunster which was built in the early 17th century. It has been designated as a Grade I listed building and scheduled monument. The buildings clearly show the red colour of the stone and soil of the region.

The PiP is excellent............and from it we can immediately see the scale of the house, which is not so apparent in the main image. Once again, beautiful details and a lovely colour palette.
I hope your weather is better than ours......it's now 2:45pm and the sun is just starting to show it's face! Too late to go anywhere for the day.............
Rosalyn Hilborne club has replied to Keith Burton clubI am pleased the sun is showing its face for you now, but it has been sunny and warm all day here! I did a lot of tidying in the garden.
