It's a real hidden gem Roger. I didn't know until I was told by a lady in the cafe but the lake and waterfall were featured in the second "Broadchurch" series. The signs to the the garden and the lake are very small! Thank you for your kind comments.

I love the shallow depth of field, Rosa, that makes the flowers in the foreground stand proud. You are certainly very competent in using this technique. The colour of the slates on the roof complements perfectly the purple flowers. A well composed and thought-out image. Cheers, Joe

A wonderful mix of natural and man made, I prefer the main image for me the shape and colour of the alliums is not quite right, Keep cool Rosalyn. I like the irony of Boris having to isolate for freedom day :))

The white and lavender are opposites that go naturally together and are both slender flowers but the ball shaped plum coloured allium doesn't seem right, if I hadn't seen the first photo I would have thought a nice colourful area. I'm not into co-ordinated planting i plant things where there is a space or they decide to seed, like Evening Primroses !! Keep cool rosalyn

The garden is on a steep slope, so it's probably the angle I took the 2nd shot from.
