Two wonderful images Rosa. The island on the lake is really lovely and I like the shape of the tallest tree, it's branches look super against the sky. Gorgeous light and colours too.

The Rhododendrons are beautiful and the red flowers really stand out.

How far away is Stourhead from you, Rosa? You are so lucky to be within striking distance. Adrian won't even drive me to Shrewsbury at the moment, even though we have had the first dose of the vaccine and are both relatively safe; which means that Attingham and Chirk are out of the question. We have missed the stunning displays of snowdrops this year.
Striking colours on the island.

Stourhead is just under 7 miles away Amelia. We pass through 3 counties in that short distance. I have been lucky to find lots of snowdrops along the lanes around here, but would also have loved to see them in many of the N.T. properties. I hope you can soon get to Shrewsbury and I would love to visit this year, but it may have to be next year!

It will be a few weeks before they are all in bloom Tanja, so I will go back then. The red ones are so beautiful :)

Spring seems to have deserted us again now! It was extremely windy during the night here. My rose arch blew down and broke the lovely rose of at the bottom :-(

The red of the willows catches the eye! A very well composed photo. The red rhododendrons in the PiP are beautiful, a colour we rarely ever see here.
