A wedding present from my wife's brother, 1970.
This photo was taken because I had recently received my first SLR camera and I was anxious to create art. We were never fond of the lamp but kept it out because we were poor and needed the light. I later learned that the praying toad is seen as a symbol of serenity by one of the eastern religions and in recent years I've regretted that we gave it to Goodwill a decade ago. Would that be Kharma? Pulled from the archives for the Vintage Photo Theme Park's theme, LAMPS, CHANDELIERS, CANDLESTICKS, AND OTHER TYPES OF LIGHTING.
