The Bloomsbury Restaurant? Don't know it, but just the name sounds expensive!

It's the restaurant at The Bloomsbury, called Dalloway Terrace.

Surprisingly not as expensive as we expected. The trip was a splurge for us as we don't travel far very often (think maybe every 5 years if we're lucky - last time we had gone was 7 years prior).

It was indeed elegant, as was the hotel. We love going to London. I've been 3 times now, 2003, 2015 and 2022. I hope I can muster enough bravery to take the flight again sometime. 10 hours on a plane is not my cup of tea!

My favourite dessert!

Indeed, (if I can't have chocolate), it is mine also. I would get back on the 9 hour flight to have that version there again. It was incredible.

Interesting. Going to make creme brulee today. Have a quart of cream that needs using.

You are? Awesome. I'd love to know what recipe you use. I've never made it. The one at the Bloomsbury was in a wide dish, thinly laid with just the right amount of "burned" sugar layer on the top - not too thick, not too sweet, but just enough.
Is it easy to make?
