tree shadow

tree shadow
the shadow envoloped the whole street. couldn't get the whole thing in with my phone camera, but thought a panorama showed the feel of the shadow pretty well.
i would make it as large as you can to enjoy it the best.

Günter Klaus, Annemarie, kiiti, Erhard Bernstein and 15 other people have particularly liked this photo

It was wonderful to see. I liked how one could feel the depth of the tree even in shadow form as some branches were sharply defined, and others were soft.

I love this kind of experiments! =)

I once spent time by using the stitch panorama feature on my phone while shooting from the moving train.

That sounds fascinating! Anything here on ipernity? I love to travel by train (more unusual in the states than where you are) and am very curious what you came up with.

A great abstract silhouette. I love the random shapes and the contrast. An excellent idea well executed. All the best, Joe

Thank you so much. I really am an abstract artist (with tinges of reality), so when people enjoy that blur of a line it makes me smile.

Thank you so very much.

I laugh at myself because I'm supposed to be out getting exercise, but I'm always getting distracted and stopping to work on photography instead!

A wonderful image `Laura with the slight curve ( top left) and the branches leaning in it could be an earth map, rivers maybe !!

Thank you, Peter. And what a great thought. I love the idea of it representing the earth. And raingirl likes rivers *smile*.

I love blurring the lines between genres. Reality/abstract - color/b&w. So thank you!

Hey, I like that! Wouldn't have thought of doing it, but what a nice panorama it makes.
This is why I should have my camera with me always, something I usually don't do.

Thanks! I was really happy with how it came out. Took only a couple tries.

I always have some type of camera with me, always have. I have fallen trap to the digital camera of my phone. I'm learning how to use it well, just like I do with each new camera I get. (Most recent, the PolaroidGo - a mini version of a Polaroid, such fun, but still learning how to use it well.) I understand the failures of a camera phone very well, but it does open up some possibilities for me as well. Still lug my digital SLR around when I have a pre-thought to be photographing. Even my film cameras at times. Think of that.
