Nice perspective, Laura. Just because an object isn't something we like doesn't mean it's not a fair subject for photography. On another note, we saw the eclipse but from Edmonton, far out of the path of totality.

thank you, Ron. and of course you are right. i'm just suprised by my continued draw to this particular fenced in area.

sorry you couldn't see the totallity - but hopefully you got those darn glasses and checked it out. i was 18 miles from totallity, so I work my son up and drove down side roads to avoid traffic and made it into the totallity path. well worth it. we are such lucky creatures to be able to experience the feel of the solar system from right here on earth.

Lol! If I didn't take pictures of chain link fences, I wouldn't have any fences at all! I guess, like power lines, I'm just resigned to them. Anyway, I like this photo, no matter what the elements are, and it has a surrealistic flavor.
