thanks, Ron. these were actually taken from two places, one up the hill from the other - one on Corbett and one on Barbur, just up from hwy 43 between downtown and John's Landing. there's just a few view places along those roads, but they are good ones.

Didn't realize you had such good views of Mount Hood from anywhere in Portland.

We were just down in the area of Mount Hood and came through Portland. Saw some great views of the mountain from Portland and even better views as we trqaveled through the National Forest.

glad you got to see the mountain from Portland - not always possible! and yes, some glorious views as you head to the forest.
