mt st helens - toutle river

Looks like the pictures we took the last time we were there. Couldn't see the mountain either. Lovely shot, though, and a beautiful view.

yes, i admit i didn't hike in anywhere to get this, but i loved that we went at a time with so many wildflowers in bloom!

Fascinating landscape shot!

thank you! it's a fascinating area. mt st helens blew it's top (and much more) back in the 1980's and is still an active volcano. this view shows the river that had tons of ash washed down it during the eruption - the river still shows the changes due to that.
