Camagüey – Plaza del Camen.
Die lebensgrossen Bronze-Statuen auf dem Plaza del Carmen der kubanischen Künstlerin Martha Jiminez sind nach dem Vorbild von Bürgern aus Camagüey nachempfunden. Einer davon stellt sich für ein kleines Entgelt den Besuchern als Fotosujet zur Verfügung. Eine gewisse Ähnlichkeit ist unverkennbar.
Die bilderbuch-bunte Altstadt von Camagüey gehört seit 2008 zum UNESCO Weltkulturerbe.
