Klasse! Solche Kunstwerke kenne ich von den Buffets während meiner verschiedenen Kreuzfahrten... (als es noch gemütliche kleinere Schiffe gab)

Ja, Udo, bei heutzutage 5'000 Passagieren kommst du da mit Schnitzen nicht mehr nach! ;-)

Die kann's besonders gut! Ich war zwar noch nie auf einem Kreuzfahrtschiff, aber ich weiß, dass das eine beliebte Büffetdeko dort ist;-)

Gudrun, bei Kreuzfahrten kann ich auch nicht mitreden. Ich war hier ganz profan an einer Ferienmesse, wo unter anderem für Thailand geworben wurde :-)

Auf Ferienmessen war ich seit vielen Jahren nicht mehr, die verlangen bei uns unverschämt Eintritt und die vielen Prospekte, die man mitnimmt, landen meist eh im Altpapier;-)

Gudrun, das mit den hohen Preisen stimmt, aber ich hatte Gratiseintritte :-) Zudem gabs ein paar interessante Multimedia-Vorträge zu ev. Wunschdestinationen. Träumen kann man ja immer ;-)

Na, das ist dann ja was anderes!

Bei der Kommunikation scheint die allemannisch-pietistische Färbung beim Thema durch - I geb au nix fird' Werbong :-))

Rapi, in solchen Fällen muss du flexibel bleiben und eine vorsichtig helvetisch-hedonistisch-lukullische Färbung annehmen. Es hat an dieser Messe auch jede Menge länderspezifische Stände mit entsprechenden Gratis-Angeboten der lokalen Küche. Ich gehe da jeweils meistens ziemlich satt wieder raus ;-)

Gell, wir finden doch immer wieder die Nische ? ! :)))

Rapi, klar, der Mensch ist nur ein Nischenprodukt ;-)

Das ist unglaublich, Poly, dazu gehört eine außergewöhnliche Kunstfertigkeit! Wie schade, dass diese Kunstwerke nicht von langer Dauer sind! Auf Mallorca habe ich in einem Hotel auch ähnliche Obst- und Gemüseschnitzereien gesehen, die waren aber bei weitem nicht so fein ausgearbeitet!

Uli, tja, auch das Gewerbe der Gemischtgemüse- und Fruchtschnitzerinnen macht offenbar grosse handwerkliche Fortschritte. Wobei, das technologische Equipment (siehe PIP) ist vermutlich immer noch auf dem gleichen Stand wie früher ;-)

I can see what you mean about the futuristic look...the nail that looks like an eye was very interesting the way it stares out, I agree! I am hoping for a frosty day to return to the shed, that will be glorious to photograph. In any event, there will be plenty of pictures in the future of this cool spot! :)

But you won't believe, she had finished to transfer this water melon into an exotic flower within less than an hour! It's incredible how she do it and without any template! She does it only by imagination.
