Railway stations in London
Folder: Railways including tramways
This is a fairly random collection of photographs which have the stations, rather than the trains, as significant parts of the views. There are one or two by my father, but his emphasis was almost always the locomotives. While the railway company that ran trains, under this station on a bridge, was Southern, at the time these photos were taken, it is now part of London Overground.

Charing Cross railway station has virtually disappeared under retail and office space, so you aren't really able to see the station. Even the railway bridge into the station, Hungerford Bridge, has had new pedestrian bridges built on either side, with the tall support columns seen here, so that is as invisible!
I have tried to make an attractive image out of this photo which was out of focus or suffering from camera shake, or both! The main effect used was 'poster edges', which hauled it back from the fuzziness it started with.
