Battersea Power Station - a Fitzgerald moment - 25 9 2023

Pleased you like it. I hadn't intended to visit the power station building itself. I was on a mission to record some of the railway stations in London that I hadn't visited or taken time to photograph as I rushed through to get to somewhere else. I am not one for glossy designer shops, but saw the well laid out park and Gehry designed apartment blocks as I walked between Battersea Park railway station and the new Battersea Power Station tube station. Then having ventured inside the former power station building I was impressed by the way the architects had incorporated some of the old structure's steelwork. There are some more internal shots to add to illustrate this.
