Including the red beam was a great idea. My eyues were drawn from the red to the green across the head and back again etc,

Thanks John. The composition was determined by the viewpoint, to a large extent. It was a rather washed-out, distant shot from the 4th floor (5th US), on a misty day. The density of the colours was improved by stacking two copies and using Photoshop 'multiply' on the top layer and then merging. It then needed brightening
