'Angel of the South' - Newhaven - 10.3.2016
This is not really called 'Angel of the South'. It is one of a series of cormorant sculptures by different artists spread around Newhaven.

Well seen and captured. I'd never heard of this statue before, but I instantly preferred it to the Angel of the North. It also helped me appreciate the Angel of the North better. I don't think this would work if it was big enough to be seen from the motorway. Sometimes less is more, though.

Sorry if I misled you about this statue's name. I put a note under the photo but my broadband connection dropped out - which has been prone to do recently - before I could save it!
