The Salvor - Ramsgate - 10.10.2005
This was a Lifeboat based at the Anglesey port of Moelfre, in North Wales. There are fascinating details of this vessel's life at www.adls.org.uk/t1/node/581 When in Lifeboat service it was the Charles and Eliza Laura

Thanks for your nice comment, StoneRoad.
Ramsgate, with its proximity to Dunkirk, has a number of boats with stories of bravery and selflessness, but this one has a history that goes back so much further. I only find these things out when I look them up when sorting out captions! This was just a brief day out from London, on a nice sunny day in October 2005. So it was a case of snapping the more interesting looking vessels around the harbour. Very few had any outward signs of their histories.
