The Crossway - an old building in Ipswich - 18.3.2005

The Crossway - an old building in Ipswich - 18.3.2005
Back in 2005 this face, of what is a Grade 1 listed building, looked out on to a small car park. I didn't realize that the bulk of the historic building was on the other side of the block, or we might have detoured round to view it.
(There are other views of the buildings at ipswich-lettering.org/isaaclord2.html - They seem to have missed Street-view.) edit - that reference seems to have disappeared.

Andy Rodker, have particularly liked this photo

Your beautiful capture was admired in Historical & Architectural Gems.

Thanks, June. As you can see, the photo itself is a tiny bit ancient. I came across it while having one of my tidy-ups, in my computer files. Why is it I never seem to get to the end of those?

I do like to put a caption on the actual image and have been commended for that by a county archivist who says that digital photographs, when been transferred between digital record stores, can sometimes lose their file names and consequently can have their origins and subject matter become unidentifiable.
