Bermondsey Street - London SE1 - 10.4.2006

The Village Deli was early in Bermondsey Street's move up market. The warehouses were beginning to be turned into loft apartments. The pink building was originally Zandra Rhodes' Fashion & Textile Museum. After a difficult period in the early 2000s, it reopened in 2008 under the auspices of Newham College, who run an academy in the building.
